Local Farmer's Markets with LOCAL produce

Many "Farmer's Markets" sell produce that is not actually local, but has been picked up at a central distribution point for imported produce. 

We've researched several markets in the GTA that truly have only local produce:

NEW AND IN OUR OWN NEIGHBOURHOOD ...

Eglinton St. George's United Church ~ There will be an array of quality organic foods, produce, meats, cheeses and baked goods. The Market starts June 4th and will run every Wednesday from 3:00 -7:00 pm until the Fall. We be providing access to the freshest, locally produced food in the neighbourhood.

Location: 35 Lytton Boulevard, Toronto, Ontario, M4R 1L2 (at the corner of Lytton and Duplex)

IN THE GTA ...

Liberty Market ~ Canada’s first certified Farmers’ Market, featuring real farmers, selling only what they produce. Join close to 40 Ontario farmers selling their best fruits and vegetables: a wide range of vegetables such as: fresh asparagus, greenhouse tomatoes; rhubarb; honey; fresh bread; organic eggs; sweet potatoes; baking; Maple Syrup and Maple products; buffalo; Angus beef and, new this year, mouth-watering smoked beef on a bun.
